What a HazWreck Clean-Out Includes
Cleaning companies stop at the contents. A hoarded house usually needs more than that: soaked carpet and plasterboard out, biohazard handled properly, and — in older Sydney housing — asbestos dealt with under licence. We are a licensed demolition and asbestos contractor that does clean-outs, which is why we can do the whole job.
Sort and salvage
Valuables, documents, photos, medication and anything the person wants kept are set aside before anything leaves. Nothing is thrown out by default.
Removal and disposal
Contents, rubbish, spoiled food, damaged furniture and fittings removed and taken to licensed facilities, with disposal dockets.
Biohazard cleaning
Rodent droppings and nesting, animal waste, sewage, sharps and gross filth handled in full PPE with containment, then disinfected and deodorised.
Contaminated linings and flooring
Where carpet, underlay or plasterboard is soaked through, it comes out. That is a licensed demolition job, and it is ours.
Asbestos, if it turns up
Sydney’s hoarded houses are often pre-1990 fibro. If we find asbestos we stop, notify SafeWork NSW, and remove it under our Class B licence. No second contractor.
Handover you can forward
Before and after photos, a short completion report, dockets and an invoice to the plan manager, trustee, agency or insurer.

Will you throw everything out?
No. The first job on every clean-out is sorting: valuables, documents, photos, medication and anything the person wants kept are set aside before a single bag leaves the house. Where the person is living there, they decide, room by room. We move at the pace they can manage.
Can you work while the person is still living in the property?
Yes, and most of our hoarding jobs are occupied. We work room by room, usually with a support worker or family member present, and we keep the kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom usable throughout.
How quickly can you start?
A walk-through is usually within 48 hours and most clean-outs start within the week. Sewage, rodent and other biohazard jobs are treated as urgent and are typically done the same week.
Who do you invoice? Can you work with NDIS plan managers and trustees?
We invoice whoever you nominate — a plan manager, self-managed participant, NSW Trustee & Guardian, an executor, a real estate agency, a strata manager or an insurer. The written price goes to you and to the payer before we start, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you handle biohazard — rodents, sewage, animal waste, sharps?
Yes. Our crew works in full PPE with containment, removes the contaminated material and any soaked linings or flooring, then disinfects and deodorises. Disposal goes to licensed facilities with dockets.
What happens if you find asbestos?
We stop, confirm the material, lodge the Form 65 notification with SafeWork NSW where required, and remove it under our Class B licence AD214755. The clearance certificate is issued by an independent licensed assessor. You do not need a second contractor.
What does a hoarding clean-out cost in Sydney?
